Seeking a Planning Manager who will coordinate, administer, and maintain manufacturing material support systems for personnel engaged in the manufacturing of products.
We are looking for a strong candidate that can administer our Product and Engineering Division’s inventory, oversee the purchase order process, develop and maintain our costing and pricing system, and maintain all reporting mechanisms to provide division management visibility, and administer company policies and AS9100 quality system requirements. They will manage direct reports to ensure incoming inventory meets monthly production needs and reconcile costs with Finance to support monthly and year-end closure of revenue recognition and inventory counts.
Provide purchasing support to both commercial and government programs in the division.
Initiate, implement, and maintain the division inventory and purchasing processes.
Establish, develop, and maintain inventory necessary for on-time monthly production for the monthly costs and revenue targets for materials.
Supporting program execution for engineering development and product operations.
Review, coach and increase productivity and capabilities in purchasing and inventory staff in the Division.
Establish and maintain a reporting system to show PO/inventory material status, such as, Costpoint daily costs tracking.
Lead in inventory control, audit support and reporting if requested.
BS/BA in related discipline
2+ years of relevant inventory experience within a manufacturing environment
Proficient with typical MS Office programs including MS Office including MS Excel and Word
ERP system experience required, Costpoint Deltek strongly preferred
1+ years supervisory experience required
Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work successfully and calmly in a challenging, in a high paced environment
U.S. Citizen/green card holder required
