Seeking an Applications Systems Analyst with experience in applications or help desk support and Kronos experience for a global medical technology company in Irvine.
Assist internal customers with system issues by clearly communicating technical solutions in a user friendly and professional manner. Duties include advanced troubleshooting, prioritizing, and completing assigned tickets in a timely manner, as well as escalating complex issue to other IT teams.
Assigns bugs to Product Owners to prioritize and escalate to the development team.
Engages with end‐users to validate updates, train, support, and obtain feedback.
Collaborates with Scrum teams and Product Owners to meet project deadlines.
Facilitates deployments and test procedures in QA and production environments.
Provides technical assistance; writes and maintains user documentation and training users.
Prepares technical support by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
Serves as subject matter expert (SME) for business-critical applications; identifies and troubleshoots issues in a timely manner.
Collaborates with Agile Scrum development teams to learn, identify, and resolve production applications.
Provides valuable feedback to Agile Scrum Product Owners regarding application improvements.
Monitors and follow-ups with Agile Scrum Product Owners on status of backlog items.
Cross-trains various support levels on applications and business workflows.
Tests and de-bugs applications.
Assists with populating scorecards and cost per ticket.
Monitors ITSM ticket queue for IT Support and applications teams to ensure problems are handled efficiently and effectively.
Escalates tickets to other teams as required and documents all troubleshooting steps and pertinent information.
Provides management reports on IT Support and applications operations and issues.
High school diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related field preferred.
3+ years of experience in applications or helpdesk support.
Previous Kronos experience required.
Must be able to read and understand all operating procedures and applicable technical information.
Ability to communicate project needs, problems, and statuses through routine meetings.
