Great Plains Administrator - Irvine

Seeking a Great Plains Administrator to be a core member of the Great Plains team.  You’ll work closely with the business to build cutting-edge solutions following the agile development process. This is an opportunity to join a growing team of talented individuals focused on using the latest technology to address complex real-world problems currently impacting the dental industry.

Responsibilities:

Provide day-to-day technical Dynamics GP application support for clients including the following modules:

  • Financial, Distribution, Manufacturing, Fixed Assets, HR, Payroll, Project Accounting, Field Services (RMA)
  • Third Party Addons such as: Greenshades, Batchmaster, Rockton Auditor, Willoware Tools, Binary Stream, Integrity Data
  • Keep users informed as to the status of open issues
  • Escalate complex problems to next level of support as appropriate
  • Effectively communicate pre- and post-analysis of problems to senior staff
  • Perform routine administrative tasks such as maintaining user accounts, running checklinks/reconciles, deploying packages
  • Coordinate with other MIS teams such as DBAs, hardware systems, data services

 Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in the support and maintenance of Dynamics GP solutions
  • Knowledge of GAAP
  • Knowledge of Microsoft SQL databases and relationships
  • Experience in the manufacturing and/or distribution industry
  • Bachelor's degree and/or relevant industry training/certification
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills with emphasis on detail and follow-up
  • Ability to triage support issues and escalate to the necessary parties
  • Availability to provide on-call and off-hours support as needed
  • Collaborate effectively as part of the overall Dynamics/MIS team
  • U.S. citizenship/green card holder

  • Helpdesk/knowledge base solutions such as ITSM
