Manager, Advanced Driver Assistance Systems - Irvine, CA

  • Manage a team of Advanced Driver Assistance Systems Engineers
  • Responsible for product development, test and integration of the ADAS modules/sensors in line with program timing from concept to production and post SOP.
  • ADAS Sensors; Ultrasound, Camera, Radar, Lidar, etc...
  • ADAS Fusion and related topologies
  • ADAS concepts and systems: ACC, AEB, DMS, FCS, HUD, NVS, TSR, PDS, BSM, LDW, SWCS
  • Automotive grade HW & SW
  • Active Safety
  • Manage budget assigned to project
  • Staying up to date with latest ADAS technologies and trends
  • Establish good relationships with suppliers
  • Schedule weekly PDT meeting with supplier
  • Interface with cross-functional module groups for a perfect integration
  • Interface with safety and certification team to insure release is in accordance with regulations for all markets
  • Reviewing/writing the technical specifications and test procedures
  • Estimate effort and meet deliver schedules and quality levels
  • Support plant personnel on any activities at the plant such as calibration and EOL testing process


  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (MS preferred)
  • 4 years + ADAS automotive related experience at either OEM or supplier level
  • 4 years + managing a team of engineers
  • 4 years +  ADAS Module Product Development experience from concept to production
  • Excellent knowledge of ADAS concepts and systems
  • Experience managing a budget
  • Strong teamwork skills
  • Strong management experience
  • Good analytical skills
  • Excellent communication skills - both written and oral

Will get fast tracked if you have:

  • 7 years of ADAS Module Product Development experience
  • Experience in Functional Safety Requirements (ISO26262)
  • Understanding of Automotive Communication Protocols such as CAN, LIN, Ethernet, MOST, FlexRay
